Welcome to the Machine

Welcome to the Machine

Welcome, welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
Days and days and days just working, harder, faster, better, stronger.
Where have you been? It's all right we know where you've been.
Now I am part of the machine, all that I am is another brick in the wall.
I've realized that I have already spent my life. Cannot be, you may say, you are young and life is long, there's still time to kill today.
Someone let me get out of this cage. Raindrops keep falling in my head they keep falling in my head keep falling in my head keep falling in my head keep falling inmy head keep falling in my head keep falling in my head
Welcome my son, welcome my son, What have you dreamt? It's all right we told you what to dream.
One day you find ten years have got behind you, no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun...
Nothing to do. Nothing to say but it's OK.
I'm nothing but a fly waiting for a windshield in the freeway
